LeoMUSC 2nd General Meeting & Nominations

On the 5th of April 2011, a general meeting was held at 6PM Room 9303. The meeting was called to order at 6.10PM by President Leo June.


First of all, Leo members are updated with the current events and what's happening next organized by the club. After that, nominations for the incoming Board of Directors (BOD) for year 2011/2012 commenced. Here are the nominees for the incoming BODs:

LeoMUSC Orientation & Induction Semester 1 2011

On the 2nd of April 2011, Leo Club of Monash University has organized orientation and induction for new members. The Organizing Chairperson for this event is Leo Caryn Boey. Kudos for the wonderful job done!

Recycling of Pull Rings

The collection of pull rings has commenced! Donate your pull rings today to help us in the process of making prosthetic limb to help the unfortunate to walk again!



We have provided containers near vending machines in Monash University Sunway Campus to collect your pull rings. Please do drop off your pull rings into one of the designated containers located at:


1. outside MUSA lounge
2. vending machine outside Auditorium 1
3. vending machine at the car park
4. cafeteria

Environmental Camp

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! The Leo Club of Monash University is organizing Environmental Camp on the 16th to the 17th of April 2011 in Monash University campus itself.


Basically, the objectives of this camp are:
(1) to encourage development and environmental awareness amongst the Monash University students
(2) to improve on leadership and team building skills as well as a sense of responsibility towards the environment

LeoMUSC Year End Trip [2010]

On the 20-22 of November 2010, Leo Club of Monash University Sunway Campus has organized a year end trip to Perak. A total of 19 members participated in this trip. On the first day of arrival, we visited Madam Kang again in Kamunting. Our club has bought necessities using the fund raised for Madam Kang.

On the third day which is on the 22nd of November 2010, the Leos had a tour cum bonding session around Ipoh town. After that, we left back for Monash University in the evening.
