Gotong Royong

Group Picture; Leo's and the residents!
On the 30th of September, 16 members of the Leo club of Monash University Sunway Campus teamed up with the residents of SS13 Petaling Jaya to have our very own Gotong Royong. The team also collaborated with MPSJ for the waste trucks and cleaning equipments. MPSJ Councillor for Zone 1 & DAP Kelana Jaya PLC (Division) Chairman, Mr Rajiv also came and supported the event. The event was hugely successful as members and residents worked together to clean up the place and provide for a better environment for the residents and the children who live there. During the event, participants helped out with cleaning of the common areas, the garbage piles, and the drains. A great deal of education was also imparted as all the participants observed how effective team work can get. Fellowship and bonding between members was also in the air. Special thanks to MPSJ, SS 13 residents, Leo Wai Xin, and LeoMUSC members.
