This event was a 4 days long that comprised of fund-raising through selling food; such as fruits, brownies and coconuts, as well as through games which the public could play.
Objectives for this event as follows:
- CREATE and RAISE AWARENESS among the public regarding the balance between human and wildlife.
- RAISE FUNDS to purchase essential needs for Madam Kang
Background of Madam Kang:
Madam Kang Gaik Kee takes care of about 200 dogs on her own in Kamunting, Perak. She is in her late 60's and is extremely devoted to taking care of the stray dogs she takes in. Despite not working and living solely on her pension, she still has the generosity of heart to continue taking care of the dogs and using most of her pension on the dogs.
