Background:
This was a week-long project which was mainly conducted to raise funds for two non-profit animal welfare organizations: TNRM and Furry Friends Farm. This event was also conducted to raise awareness on animal abuse and cruelty.
Awareness was raised through an exhibition board about animal cruelty.

Objectives:
-Raise awareness about animal cruelty and abuse

-Raise funds for Trap-Neuter-Release-Manage (TNRM)and Furry Friends Farm

Details:
Funds were raised through the selling of food and beverages as well as a games corner. The food and beverages included mashed potato, jelly, fried crab sticks and fizzy lemonade.
Four games were held, which were: Save the Animal game, Angry Bird catapult game and an egg basket game.

The Save the Animal game involved fishing out tiny bottles, which had animal prints on them, out of the water. The participant was given 1 minute to fish out a minimum of 4 bottles using a handmade fishing rod. If the participant managed to fish 4 bottles, 1 point was awarded to that participant. If the participant managed to fish more than 4 bottles (there was a maximum of 7 bottles), he/she was awarded with 2 points.

The Angry Bird catapult game required the participant to shoot down small plastic yakult bottles (pictures of poachers were pasted on each) using a handmade chopstick gun and a rubber band. The participant was given three tries and was awarded 1 point for every bottle he/she shoots down.

The egg basket game involved the participant throwing a ping pong ball into and egg tray. This egg tray was colored in some holes only. Therefore if the ball fell in the colored hole, the participant was awarded one point.  Here also the participant was given 3 tries.

Points for all these games were given in the form on a handmade origami cat/dog. These points could be exchanged for gifts. 3 points could be exchanged for a bookmark, cream samples and vouchers.
10 points could be exchanged for goody bags and 40 points could be exchanged for a hamper.
